Professional experience
With over 12 years in education, my work bridges classroom teaching, bilingual pedagogy, and modern instructional design. Explore how intentional technology integration and student-centered methods shape impactful learning experiences.

Twelve years in the classroom and bilingual education
My journey as an educator is grounded in twelve years of hands-on classroom practice. As a bilingual middle school teacher, I developed core skills in classroom management, purposeful lesson planning, and student engagement. More importantly, this experience reinforced the value of linguistic and cultural diversity, guiding me to view every student's background as an essential asset in their learning process.

Blended learning and intentional course design
A defining milestone in my instructional career has been designing and implementing blended learning courses that unite face-to-face instruction with digital activities. By creating multi-modal opportunities to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing, students engage through voice recordings, interactive prompts, and collaborative peer feedback far beyond traditional classroom walls.

Educational technology and methodology
Technology is never added just for novelty; it is selected strictly to meet targeted learning objectives. I rely on tools like Google Classroom, Quizlet, Padlet, Canva, Kahoot!, Gimkit, and YouTube to build accessible, interactive, and structured environments. This intentional methodology empowers middle school learners to demonstrate mastery in varied and creative ways.
"Developing a blended course encouraged a shift from simply using technology to intentionally designing purposeful learning experiences."
